Welcome to our Free Online Find and Replace utility. When working with large bodies of text, source code, or CSV data, manually searching for and replacing specific words or strings is practically impossible. While most desktop text editors have a basic find and replace function, our web-based tool gives you access to a blazing fast replacement engine directly in your browser without needing to open heavy software.

How to Use the Find and Replace Tool

Our interface is designed for maximum efficiency. Simply paste your document into the large text area below. In the "Find string" input, type the exact word, phrase, or character sequence you want to eliminate. In the "Replace with" input, type the new text you want to substitute it with (leave it blank if you just want to delete the found text entirely). Finally, click "Replace All" and our engine will instantaneously scan your entire document and perform the swaps.

Case Sensitivity Matters

By default, our engine performs a case-insensitive search. This means if you search for "apple", it will replace "Apple", "APPLE", and "apple". If you are working with source code or programming variables (where casing is strictly enforced), simply check the Case Sensitive box. The tool will then strictly match the exact capitalization you provided, leaving similarly spelled words with different casing untouched.
